DJ Noel aka Chief Tutt
Born in Ventura, CA and raised in the Central Coast. I have a passion for helping humanity, a deep love for music, and I’m always looking for the next grand adventure. My music taste is across the spectrum and I love events that allow versatility!
My DJ journey started in 2014, walking through a sea of people at EDC, with vivid visions of being on the stage one day. I bought a used Numark 4trak DJ controller on Craigslist and started to DJ events for free throughout the Bay Area. I got involved with sound engineering at City Life Church SF and connected with spoken word artists through Lyrical Opposition, where my passion for the music scene exploded.
I was the DJ/MC for a close friend’s wedding and instantly knew I found my lane. My wife and I left San Francisco in 2017 and moved to Phoenix, AZ. I connected with Vox DJs, where I expanded my experience as a professional wedding DJ/MC for the past 5 years. This is where we planted roots and pursued the American dream. You know the drill; get married, have a baby, buy a house. I currently work as a paramedic in the Glendale 911 system during the week and a DJ/MC during the weekend, but my favorite work title by far is “Dad”.
My work ethic is to provide above and beyond customer service in everything I do. Communication is the key to relationships and success in all aspects of life, and this is especially true for an elite DJ/MC. My slogan at events is, “Team work makes the dream work”. It’s corny but true! A professional DJ/MC is more than someone pressing play or speaking into a microphone. They should be a leader in communication, guiding the energy, and working well with all vendors, continually throughout the event. Honest truth, the kiddos are some of my favorite guests and always will be (sorry adult booty shakers).
